Onset Professional Development was established in 2024 by Heather Rose Boehme. A certified business coach, Heather has a passion for “making it make sense” and sharing her enthusiasm and unique way of framing concepts with entrepreneurs looking to take control of their business.

The dictionary definition of the word onset is the beginning of something, especially something unpleasant. While that doesn’t sound so great, when Heather stumbled on the word in search of a business name and read the definition she knew she had the right one!

The beginning of big things is NEVER easy, and in most situations the hardest part of making a positive impact in life and business is GETTING STARTED. By naming the company Onset Professional Development, Heather wanted to acknowledge that although changing and growing in business can be unpleasant at first, it is WORTH it when in pursuit of a bigger vision!

Through business coaching programs based on the unique SOME Model, 1:1 individual business and mindset coaching and dynamic professional development trainings, Onset Professional Development seeks to leave every client more excited about their business than when they arrived!
